Michiana RC Raceway (MRCR) near South Bend, Indiana hosted round 2 of the Motiv Midwest All-Star Carpet Series last weekend. Our American driver, Rob King, now has a streak of two TQ’s and fastest lap. Unfortunately, a couple race incidents had him finishing 2nd.
This is another American Black CRC carpet track with quite a bit of traction. Rob was testing a few prototype parts over the race weekend and found a couple of them to be useful. A thicker chassis, a longer top deck, and a front arm brace. Some of these will be available on our web-shop in the near future.
Rob also was testing the impact of different side link positions and different pod length distances. These setup changes will help rotate the car though tight carpet track layouts you typically see in America.
Thank you and congratulations to Rob as he continues to lead the F1 class. We wish him luck continuing throughout the Motiv series.
If you’re an F1 fan located in the American mid-west, do yourself a favor and look up Rob King on Facebook. He is starting his own series, Midwest F1 and GT racing series. More information can be found in the link below (click the picture).
